HI, I'M TAYLOR!
I am so excited that you are here!
I'm a fashion lover, inspiration seeker + owner and creator of The Shimmy Shack located in Midland, Texas.
But, that’s not all - I am the mama to two pups, Goose and Charlie, and their kitty sister, Fifi. I am also a proud wife to my handsome husband, Tyler!
In my spare time you can find me putting together a 1000-piece puzzle, tending to our mini farm or at the gym.
Dr. Pepper over crushed ice and some baked cheetos is my go-to snack ... the palette of a college student, I know!
Family means everything to me! My parents and sister keep me motivated and humble, and my friends are my daily support system. I am so thankful for my small but loyal tribe!
After being newly married in August 2018, I embarked on not only a brand new life, but took a swift turn in my career path to become an Entrepreneur. With the support of my family, friends, and husband, I took the leap! (psst guys, really ... just go for it!) And here I am today, bubbling over with excitement to dress YOU and call it my JOB!!!!
I started The Shimmy Shack with two goals in mind: 1. to be closer to my family and 2. to help women look their best while being pocket savvy! (I got you, girls!)
Opening this boutique has been a dream of mine for a very long time. Thank you for helping my dreams come true!

I'm a Fort Worth native who made her way out to West Texas thanks to my wonderful husband, Andrew, who was born + raised here.
I am the proud mom of a perfect little girl named Dallas Drew, and 7 sweet puppy dogs (and hopefully my own personal zoo in the future!)
I love cooking, cleaning, baking, online shopping, and an ice cold diet coke.
When I'm not at The Shimmy Shack, I'm either in the Starbucks line, playing with my Dally girl, or vacuuming dog hair up around the house!
